Lacey To London Town

The new Royal couple's new home will likely be Kensington Palace but you can go and have a pint in The Blade Bone pub in Kate Middleton's home town of Bucklebury.

Don’t be afraid to go home. Our nation’s Independence Day celebration is here. This is the time when our very young country celebrates our severing ties with Mother England. But now we want to get back. We want to visit England and we love the royals, love the pubs, the fish and chips, the accent, and all the pomp and pageantry.

Yes I got up at 5 a.m. with my daughter to watch the Royal wedding just as I had done with my mother when Diana married Prince Charles, guilty as charged.

England is having a resurgence and renaissance. London is reinventing itself, with all the glamor of this year’s royal wedding and then on to a series of dazzling events such as the Olympics 2012, the Paralympic Games and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Visit all the wonderful historic locations in London. When we visit houses or buildings in the US that date back to the Revolutionary war times we are amazed but when you step inside “Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese” Pub on Fleet Street in London and realize it has been a pub since 1535 it can be hard to comprehend.

There are always great deals on airfare to London and it is one of the lower priced destinations in Europe. Even if you are not English in Heritage you can still appreciate the style and historical relevance to our Beloved USA. We had our fair share of English colonist settle right here in Forked River. You can always go home and London is calling.

Always book with a travel agent. I can help you find the right hotel, air, and tour of your favorite United Kingdom destination. Oceans of love from the traveling mom of Palm Breezes Travel, a local agency. 908-705-0356
