Helping Hurricane Families Have A Happy Holiday!

For friends and neighbors affected by Hurricane Sandy, Lacey Residents can now adopt a "family" to help make their seasons a bit more merry and bright!

Starting Saturday, December 1st, please adopt a family in need of some well-deserved holiday gifts. This community based event is asking those that can to help by selecting a family from our Christmas Tree Wish List at the Forked River Presbyterian Church at 131 North Main Street (Route 9). Stop in during the hours of 5-8pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays, and 9-12 on Saturday. If you are unable to adopt a family, please help our cause by spreading the word to help spread cheer this holiday season!

If you know any families that have been affected by Hurricane Sandy, please encourage them to sign up for inclusion on the Christmas Tree Wish List at the Presbyterian Church during the above scheduled dates and times. All information will be kept strictly confidential.

Volunteers are greatly needed and appreciated. Please contact Katie through this event page. The following is a list of donations that would be greatly appreciated:

***We are now in need of names of families for our tree;(remember a family comes in all different varieties) that need help during this holiday season.  Please encourage anyone you know to come stop in and sign up if they were affected by the Hurricane, so we can make this event happen.
