Mother, Family With 19 Siblings Wins Pick-6 Lotto With Ticket From Lacey

Winning ticket purchased at 7-11 on Lacey Road in Forked River



A mother and her 19 children will be on hand at the Beachwood Community Center on Compass Avenue Thursday to be introduced as the winners of a $20 million annuity Pick-6 Jackpot, New Jersey Lottery spokesperson Judith Drucker said.

A family member bought the ticket at the 7-11 on Lacey Road in Forked River for the June 16 draw, Drucker said.

The patriarch of the family emigrated from Norway in the early 20th century. he and the mother met on the Jersey Shore, married and raised a family and started a successful business that still exists, she said.

Multiple generations of the family are expected to attend the introduction ceremony that begins at 2 p.m. at the Community Center, she said.

The name of the winner will be released at the presentation, Drucker said.
