Lacey Elks Lodge No. 2518 of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, which is also home of Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapter No. 81, recently participated in a joint fundraiser at the Walmart store in Lanoka Harbor to raise money for the veterans organization.

“We would like to thank the community for their support ”, said DAV Chapter No. 81 Chaplain, Chuck Nieroda. “Your help goes along way toward helping disabled veterans”.

Proceeds from the fundraiser are slated to help support local disabled veterans who are living in local nursing homes.
