Former Randolph Mayor Tom MacArthur on Wednesday night secured the influential endorsement and support of the Ocean County Republican Party in his bid to be the GOP nominee for Congress from New Jersey’s 3rd Congressional District, beating out Tea Party favorite Steve Lonegan and favorite son candidate Mo Hill, a Toms River councilman and retired Navy rear admiral, according to the Asbury Park Press.
