Whiz Kid: Gavin Rozzi of Forked River, 14

Name: Gavin Rozzi, Forked River

School: Lacey Township Middle School

Accomplishment: Gavin may get straight A’s, be in all honors classes, and a member of the Student Council and the track team but he is also a young entrepreneur, successfully running his own computer repair company. “Gavin Rozzi Computer Repair” has been profitable, and he has made several thousand dollars to date.

Key to Awesomeness: Gavin taught himself everything there is to know about computers and began his business at the age of 12. He repairs computers that were unable to be repaired at well-known establishments, leases computers, and rebuilds computers. When teachers need assistance with technology, Gavin offers his help. Not only is Gavin a computer whiz but also he is passionate about politics and current events. Gavin was invited to participate in a Lacey Township Committee meeting when he was 8 years old, helped a gubernatorial candidate with his campaign, and went on a private tour of the White House in 2008. Gavin hopes to attend Princeton University when he graduates from high school.
