Things Happening in Southern Ocean County This Weekend

Looking for something to do this weekend? You won't have to look far.

• SATURDAY AND SUNDAY  - The annual Ocean County Fair continues this weekend at the Robert J. Miller Airpark off Route 530 in Berkeley Township.

Tickets for the non-profit event are $7 for anyone 10 and up. Children younger than age 10 are admitted free. Pay $20 for unlimited rides Sunday 12 to 5 p.m.

• SATURDAY - Free tours of the Barnegat Historical Society's Heritage Village, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m, East Bay Avenue, Barnegat.

• SATURDAY -  Spend the night under the stars with the Astronomical Society of the Toms River Area (ASTRA) at the Nature Center at Jakes Branch County Park, 500 Double Trouble Road, Beachwood. Club members will  available to answer questions. Use their telescopes or bring your own. The event is free and runs from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.
