The Morning Call for Southern Ocean County

Our long weather nightmare is almost over. The National Weather Service is calling for one more day of crummy, sticky, intolerable, hair-frizzing heat and humidity.  Then comes Wednesday.
Today - Mostly cloudy, with a high near 85 degrees. Showers and thunderstorms likely, mainly between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Some storms could bring heavy rain. Winds will be from the southwest at 6 to 11 miles per hour.

Tonight - A chance of showers or thunderstorms before midnight, followed by gradual clearing. Expect a low of 72 degrees. Winds will be from the west at 7 miles per hour.

Wednesday - Skies will be mostly sunny, with a high near 86 degrees. Winds will be from the northwest at 9 miles per hour. The nice weather will continue at least for the next few days.
