Police Arrest Man Found With Heroin In Hebrew Park

Police recently arrested a Forked River man in Hebrew Park after they found heroin and hypodermic needles in his possession, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.
Officers responded to the park in Lanoka Harbor at 4:45 p.m. on June 15, on a report that a man may have required medical attention. They later found that Joseph Ferenc, 20, did not need medical assistance.
Instead they arrested Ferenc and charged him with possession of heroin and possession of hypodermic needles, the chief said.
Ferenc was processed, then transported to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River in lieu of $1,500 bail, Paprota said.
