Lacey Holiday Closures, Cancelations and Events

Here is a list of holiday closures and cancelations:

• The Municipal Building is closed on Thursday and Friday.
• Municipal, county and state offices will be closed.
• There will be no trash pickup. Trash will be picked up your next scheduled trash pickup day.
• There will be no recycling pick up on Thanksgiving Day for zone two. Curbside recycling for zone one and two will be Friday, Nov. 23.
• The Recycling Center will be closed for Thursday. It will reopen on Friday, Nov. 23 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. It will also be open Saturday, Nov. 24 and Sunday, Nov. 25 from 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
• Schools are closed on Thursday and Friday.
• The post office is closed on Thursday but opened on Friday.
• The Lacey Library will be closed on Thursday and Friday. Libraries in Toms River, Brick, Lakewood, Stafford and Barnegat will be open on Friday.

Events:

• The Lacey United Methodist Church is holding a Thanksgiving Dinner for the community at 1 p.m. on Thursday.
