Handgun Stolen From Forked River Home Found In Franklin Township

A handgun stolen from a home in the 900 block of Clifton Street in Forked River back in mid-May has been recovered in Franklin Township in Somerset County, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

The black Ruger .357 revolver with brown grips was found on June 25, the chief said.

A resident of the home reported to police on May 16 that an unknown person or persons entered the residence while they were not home and stole various items. The matter is under investigation, Paprota said.
