Latitudes on the River in Forked River will be hosting a Benefit for Hope on Friday, Nov. 30 from 7 to 11 p.m.

“Hurricane Sandy devastated the Jersey Shore community. Many of our friends and loved ones lost so much,” Laura Schoeneberg said. “Families are displaced, homes have been destroyed and the rebuilding process is slowly beginning. As power returns we are all struggling to find a sense of normalcy.”

The event will feature music, auction prizes, food and drinks.

Admission is $20 at the door, which includes tickets for use in the auction prizes.

Ticket funds and all proceeds will directly benefit local displaced families for necessary items such as cleaning supplies, baby supplies, gas cards, pre-packed meals, etc.

“This is a tough time for our beloved shore community. Please help us make a difference for those in need,” Schoeneberg said.
