April 26: Smithville Trip, See "Xanadu", Township Committee Meeting

1. The Lacey Township Recreation Department is offering a day trip to the historic village of Smithville today, with participants leaving via bus from on Manchester Avenue. Tickets for the trip are $6 per person, and the bus will leave Gille Park at 9:30 a.m. Those attending will provide for their own lunch.

2. asks that anyone seeking to provide donations for the “United Through Reading” Military Program Children’s Book Drive, to please bring them to the book store, located at 603 Route 9 in Lanoka Harbor. 3. Barnegat High School will be performing their production of “Xanadu” tonight at the school, at 7 p.m. The high school is located at 180 Bengal Boulevard in Barnegat, and tickets are $8.

4. A regular meeting of the Lacey Township Committee will take place tonight at 7 p.m., at the municipal complex located at 818 Lacey Road.

5. A meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous will be taking place at 7:30 p.m., at the , at 203 Lacey Road.
