Adoption Alert: Mandy, a 10-Year-Old Yorkie

To adopt Mandy, stop by Popcorn Park at 1 Humane Way to fill out an application

Mandy may be a 10 year old Yorkie but she is "young at heart," said Sandy Hickman of Popcorn Park.

Mandy arrived at Popcorn Park's animal shelter after her owner moved out of state and could not take her along. Mandy first was given to a friend of her owners who also could not keep Mandy.

"Mandy is a tiny little Yorkie with a big heart. She just loves life, and loves everyone in it. She is such a sweet, easy going girl with such a pleasant personality, that it's impossible not to love her," Hickman said.

Hickman described Mandy as quiet, well behaved, very polite and super friendly.

Unfortunately, a health issue had been neglected by her original owner. Those interested in adopting her will have to speak with Popcorn Park's veterinarian about those concerns.

Mandy is good with other pets.

"She just wants a quiet, caring home to spend her days in, snoozing and relaxing, with people that will cherish her forever," Hickman said.
