Christian Brothers Academy is pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Donahue, a 1997 graduate, as admissions coordinator. In this role, Donahue will be the “face of CBA,” welcoming prospective families to his alma mater.

“CBA has always been a big part of my life, and I am very proud to be an alumnus,” said Donahue. I have always wanted to come back to CBA.”

Donahue was previously a school counselor at Lacey Township High School, where he was an anti-bullying specialist, advised students and parents on the college admissions and financial aid processes, and coordinated group counseling sessions.

Previously, Donahue was a social studies teacher at Burlington City High School, in Burlington, N.J. Donahue also served as a softball and baseball coach for Lacey and Burlington high schools and will join CBA’s coaching staff with the added experience of being a former Colt.

Donahue earned his bachelor of arts in education and history and secondary education certification at Rowan University. He went on to receive his master of education in school counseling at the University of Maryland in College Park, Md. and gained a supervisor certificate and director of school counseling certificate at New Jersey City University.

Passionate about the Academy and his new role, Donahue looks forward developing relationships with area schools and sharing his CBA experience with others.

“I have great pride in the school,” he said. “I truly believe CBA is a special place.”
CBA invites interested families to meet Kevin and other members of the community at our fall open house on October 5. Visit the admissions section of the CBA website at www.cbalincroftnj.org/admissions for more information.
