Forked River Sunoco Closed for Renovations

If you have to make a pit stop at the pumps on the Garden State Parkway or are willing to drive a bit out of your way on a mission to find the cheapest gas, don’t try the Sunoco at the Forked River Service Station.

The Garden State Parkway gas station at mile marker 76 is currently closed for renovations, said Joe McGinn, Sunoco Public Affairs Manager.

Sunoco is replacing several dispensers and doing electrical upgrades, McGinn said. The gas station is expected to reopen in three to four weeks.
