Dine to Donate: Funds from Surf Taco Purchase Go Toward Relay for Life

Present a flier at Surf Taco and 20 percent of the check will go to Relay for Life

The Lacey Surf Taco is participating in a fundraiser for Relay for Life today.

All customers, who present the attached flier at the time of purchase between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m., 20 percent of the check will go directly to Relay for Life.

Relay for Life is an event held throughout the world to celebrate the lives of those who battled cancer, remember loved ones lost and raise funds to fight back against the disease.

Last year, 350 people participated in the , raising more than $80,000. Currently, 26 teams with 149 people are signed up for the event, scheduled for May 19 and 20 at Veterans Park in Berkeley. 

Starting at noon on May 19, team members will camp out at the park for 24 hours, taking turns walking around a track, enjoying activities and raising money for cancer research, education, advocacy and patient services.
