Chase Bank To Replace Old Wawa

J.P. Morgan anticipates opening by this time next year

A Chase bank will replace the old on the corner of Lacey Road and Manchester Avenue, Zoning Officer Nicole Casale said.

The bank received board approval in May and a resolution was adopted in June but a site plan has yet to be submitted, she said.

Jeremiah Delaney, Senior Project Manager, said they plan to demolish the old Wawa and build a new Chase branch, which will be their most current prototype design.

Delaney could not provide a date for when J.P. Morgan will go before the Planning Board again.

They anticipate starting construction in early March 2012 and hope to open in late August 2012, he said.
