Police On LBI Arrest Man On Active Warrant

A Jersey City man was arrested this week on Long Beach Island for having an active warrant. Harvey Cedars police said.

At 4 p.m. Saturday, police stopped a vehicle due to a passenger not wearing their seatbelt.

Further investigation by the officer found the passenger, 47-year-old Adrian L. Johnson, to possess an active warrant out of New Brunswick Municipal Court

The active arrest warrant was for failure to appear in court on a suspended driver’s license charge with $650.00 bail set

Johnson was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters and released on his own recognizance pending a future court date in New Brunswick. A motor vehicle summons was issued to the driver.

Officer Timothy Butler was the arresting officer.
