UPDATE: Lacey Board of Education Declines To Renew Brower's Contract

Former Lacey schools Superintendent Sandra D. Brower will not be returning to Lacey.
Board of Education members voted Monday night not to renew Brower's contract when it expires.
Brower, 46, was suspended without pay in June, after she was indicted by a Monmouth County grand jury and charged with second-degree official misconduct, third-degree hindering apprehension and fourth-degree obstruction during the time she was assistant superintendent in Wall Township.
Lacey Board of Education President Eric Schubiger did not attend the meeting. Board members Jack Martenak and Linda Downing abstained.
