Relay for Life's Activity Schedule

The Relay for Life of Berkeley and Lacey Townships kicks off at noon

The American Cancer Society's Berkeley-Lacey Relay for Life officially gets underway at noon today, with a survivor's luncheon.

With 345 participants making up 39 teams, $46,165 has been raised for the American Cancer Society as of Friday, May 18. 

It’s not too late to get involved! Here’s the schedule for today’s main events:

Noon: Survivor Luncheon; Central Regional High School Chorus (Beth Moore, Director)
2 p.m.: Opening Ceremonies; Central Regional High School Chorus will sing The National Anthem
3 p.m.: The Castoffs (BAND)
4:30 p.m.: "From Broadway To You" Presented by Daydreamer Productions, Nicholas Wainwright and Ocean County Performing Arts School
6:30 p.m.: Justified (Band)
8:30 p.m.: The Summer Project (Band)
10 p.m.: Luminaria Ceremony
10:45 p.m.: ZUMBA with Angela "Rumpshaker" Vetri
11:45 p.m.: Fight Back Ceremony
Midnight: Karaoke with Don Cook

There are also activities planned for each hour such as special themed laps, and children’s activities including the fun bus, a magician, pony rides, face painting, games and relays. Food will be for sale in the main tent.
