Recreation Department Accepting Registration for Fall Senior Citizen Trips

Registration is being accepted at the office from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday

The Lacey Township Recreation Department is now taking registration for its fall senior citizen day trips.

Registration is being taken at the Recreation Office at 818 W. Lacey Rd. Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Thursday, Aug. 23
Seniors can enjoy a day of racing at the Monmouth Racetrack in Oceanport. Busses will depart from Gille Park at 2 p.m. The first race is at 4 p.m. Refreshments will be on your own while at the racetrack.

The trip is $11 per person and includes admission to Monmouth Park, race program, pencil and transportation.

Wednesday, Sept. 5
The Recreation Department will be traveling to PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel for a performance by Freddie Roman & Mai Z. Lawrence.

Busses will depart from Gille Park at 11 a.m. Participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch. Admission is $6.

Tuesday, Sept. 11
Seniors can enjoy a day of entertainment at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel for a performance by The Westfield Symphony Orchestra.

Busses will depart from the Gill Park at 11 a.m. Admission is $6 and participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch.

Tuesday, Sept. 18
The Recreation Department will be going to the PNC Banks Arts Center again for a performance by The Cameos.

Busses will depart from the Gill Park at 11 a.m. Admission is $6 and participants are encouraged to bring their own lunch.

Wednesday, Sept. 26
The Recreation Department will be traveling to Cape May for an afternoon of shopping, tasting and sight seeing.

Busses will be leaving from Gille Park at 8 a.m. Admission is $9.
