POLL: Should Point Pleasant Beach, N.J. Ban 'Baggy Pants' And Other Dress?

Stephen Reid, a Point Pleasant Beach councilman, has suggested that actions should be taken towards a dress code policy on Point Pleasant boardwalk.

Reid was approached about the issue, he said, by local merchants and residents who said young men wear their pants too low while walking on the boardwalk.

"They wear their pants too low and it's not a proper look," exclaimed Reid. "This is unacceptable."

Of course it shouldn't be banned. What is this, the 1920s? Are womens ankles showing causing too much of a stir, too?

It is the beach. People are half nude with the type of bathing suits they where today. Why is this council man worrying about baggy pants? There is nothing more important that needs to be addressed. I think the council members need to let this go.

Um baggy pants and wearing pants too low are 2 different things. People don't even wear "baggy pants" anymore. These kids wear really tight pants that are too low. What a dumb topic to focus on anyway. I don't even know why I just made a comment about it.
