PHOTOS: Some Lacey Streets Remain Flooded After Early Morning Storm

Areas of Lacey that already sustained heavy damage due to Hurricane Sandy, took on water again

Some Lacey streets remain flooded after the early morning storm.

"Lacey Township experienced tidal flooding in the low-lying areas of the township along the bay-front during the early morning hours," Capt. David Paprota said.

The township has reported some downed wires and power outages. As of 1 p.m., there were less than 50 JCP&L customers without power in Lacey, according to the power outage map.

Areas that sustained heavy damage from Hurricane Sandy once again took on water.

Streets, such as Laurel Boulevard, were covered in mud and some debris as well.

One Lanoka Harbor resident reported flood damage to a vehicle, Paprota said.
High tide in Forked River occurred between 5 and 6 a.m., Paprota said. The next high tide is expected between 5:30 and 6:15 p.m.
