Oct. 5: Vendors Needed, Library Events, Italian Festival

Events in and around Lacey Township

1. The Lacey Township High School Parent Teacher Student Association is looking for vendors for the annual craft and vendor fair. The fair will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reservations for vendors are $35 for a 7-foot space.

2. Join the Lacey Library in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month at 10 a.m. Children ages three to five will have stories read to them, learn some new words and make Papel Picado.

3.There is a book café for mystery lovers at 2 p.m. at the library. The Friends of the Lacey Library will be providing refreshments.

4. Children ages five to 12 can stop by the library for Star Wards Reads Day. A Star Wars craft will be made.

5. The Ocean County Italian Festival runs on Grant Avenue from Central Avenue to the Boardwalk in Seaside Heights from 4 to 10 p.m. There will be live entertainment, a beer tent, craft vendors and more.
