Oct. 3: Toddler Time, Farmers' Market, FInancial Literacy Series

Events in and around Lacey Township

1. Children ages two to three years old can stop off at the library at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. for Toddler Time.

2. The Waretown Farmers’ Market is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Route 532.

3. Ocean County College is offering a free Financial Literacy Series at 1 p.m. in Bartlett Hall. The series is geared towards high school and college students but is open to the public. The meeting today is a REAL Money Overview. The program will teach people how to manage a checkbook; protect your identity; budget your money, credit cards and time and understand student loans.

4. If you’ve had a problem with a repairman or a purchase, representatives from the Ocean County Consumer Affairs Department will be at the County Connection from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

5. A reproduction of a paddle wheel riverboat will cruise the Toms River and Barnegat Bay Tuesday through Saturday through Saturday, Oct. 13.
