Oct. 3: Library Events, Farmers' Market, Theater Productions

Events in and around Lacey Township

1. Parents can bring their babies to the Lacey Library to enjoy songs and rhymes at 10 a.m.

2. Today is the last day for the Toms River Farmers Market on West Water and Irons Street. It’ll take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be apples and pumpkins as well as fresh produce, fruits and vegetables, plants, herbs, fresh baked goods, honey, chowders, raviolis, crab cakes, cheeses, pickles, nuts and candy.

3. The Surflight Theatre presents Steel Magnolias at 2 p.m.

4. Children ages five to 12 can drop by the library for LEGO Free Play at 4 p.m.

5. Enjoy musical numbers from classic and current Broadway shows at the library from Our Gang Players at 7 p.m.
