Nov. 30: Drama Club Performance, Dine to Donate, Holiday Social, Historical Presentation

Events in and around Lacey Township

 

1. Blue Moon Books on Route 9 in Lanoka Harbor is participating In the United Through Reading’s Military Program Book Drive. Donate new books to children who have parents serving overseas.

2. “Bang, Bang, You’re Dead” will be showing at Lacey Township High School for students from 7:15 to 8:30 a.m. A public showing will begin at 7 p.m.

3. Dine to donate at the Forked River House from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. to help support the Lacey Peewee and Midget Cheer Teams get to the national competition in Florida. Ten percent of the proceeds go will be donated to Lacey AYC.

4. Celebrate the holidays as was done in the early 1900s at Mrs. Gould’s 10th Annual Holiday Social. The event will take place at the Great Hall/Main Dining Room at Georgian Court University’s Mansion in Lakewood at 11:30 am. For more information call 732-987-2263.

5. Stop by the Jacques Cousteau Coastal Education Center for “The Fish Factories” from 2 to 3 p.m. A historical researcher from the Bass River Historical Society will discuss the history of Little Egg Harbor’s five fish factories. For more information call 609-812-0649.
