May 4: Scholarship Fundraising Dinner, Volunteer Sign Up, Theater and More

Events in and around Lacey Township

1. Students at can donate a dollar to wear their favorite hat to school. All proceeds will benefit the Mill Pond Team to support their efforts to raise money for the POAC walk at Blue Claws Stadium on Saturday, May 5.

2. Drop off your plants at the anytime from 9 a.m.to 10 a.m. and receive a voucher. Come back on Saturday, May 5 at 10 a.m. to choose a plant for each voucher you receive.

3. At 9 a.m. residents can sign up at the library to volunteer to set up and help out at the Friends of Lacey Library Book/Media Sale. Set up is Monday, May 7 and Tuesday, May 8 from 8 to 9 a.m. Sale days are Wednesday, May 9 and Thursday, May 10 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday, May 11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Donations will be accepted on May 7 and 8.

4. There is an Edna and Louis Sokolich Scholarship Fundraising Dinner at at 7 p.m. The dinner will be catered by Kate & Ally’s Bistro and Café and will feature Committeeman and Scholarship Chairman Sean Sharkey as the speaker. Admission is $40.

5. The Surflight Theatre presents the Rat Pack Revue at 8 p.m.
