May 22: Puppet Players, Friends of Lacey Library and More

1. The Ocean County Library System’s Puppet Players will present “Bossy Bear” for ages three and up at the Lacey Library at 10:30 p.m. The show is based on the books of David Horvath.

2. The Board of Social Services will be at the County Connection in Toms River from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

3. Residents of Ocean County can meet with Senator Lautenburg’s staff at the County Connection to discuss federal programs from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.

4. The Friends of the Lacey Library is holding a meeting at 7 p.m.

5. The Connor Prairie Opening Doors Interpretive Program will begin at 7 p.m. at the John F. Peto Studio Museum in Island Heights. The event, which is sponsored by the Ocean County historical Society, will feature discussion and short video.
