- Tryouts: Boys vollyeball tryouts will take place today at Lacey Township High School at 2 p.m. All those trying out must got to the Nurse and get on the physical list. Those who are not on the list cannot try out. There is also a boys baseball tryout information meeting for Lacey Township Middle School from 2 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
- The American Legion Riders of Southern Ocean County is hosting a spaghetti dinner from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Barnegat Post 232. The dinner will be followed by karaoke to benefit Wounded Soldiers through Soldiers Angels. For more information go to thelegionriders.org.
- There is a gift auction hosted by the House of Hope at Monsignor Donovan High School in Toms River at 6 p.m. This is the House of Hope's third annual gift auction. - The Kiwanis of Greater Red Bank is hosting their third annual comedy night at the Two River Theater in Red Bank. The night begins at 7 p.m. and benefits the Valerie Fund Center at the Children's Hospital at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. For more information call 732-822-9719.
- The Lacey United Methodist Church is having a non-denominational single's social at 8 p.m. for divorced, widowed, or single people ages 40 and up. There will bee music, coffee, and cake. A donation of $5 will go back to the church to feed the homeless. For more information call 609-693-5222.
