March 25: Indoor Yard Sale, Senior Luncheon, Spring Sports

1.     The County Connection in Toms River will be holding free stroke screenings beginning at 9:30 a.m. Call 732-288-7777 to make an appointment.

2.     The Knights of Columbus are having their indoor yard sale at 15 East Lacey Rd. in Forked River from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Father Capodanno Council #6522.

3.     There is a St. Patrick’s Day Senior Connections Luncheon at the Lacey Community Hall at 11:30 a.m. This event is sponsored by the Lacey Municipal Alliance.  Admission is $6. For more information call 609-693-8223.

4.     The girls varsity softball team and the boys varsity baseball team will be competing in the shore conference at Lacey Township High School at 4:15 p.m.

5.     The American Cancer Society is holding Tides of Change Gala at Woodlake Country Club in Lakewood. This event honors those in  Ocean County who are fighting against cancer. For more information call 732-818-5317, ext. 2313.
