Lacey Township Christmas Parade Slated for Sunday

The parade will run from the Lacey United Methodist Church to the Municipal Building at 3 p.m.

‘Tis the season for the Lacey Township Christmas Parade, which will be held on Sunday, Dec. 2 at 3 p.m.

The parade, sponsored by the Lacey Elk’s Lodge, will begin at the Lacey United Methodist Church located at 203 Lacey Road and ends at the Lacey Township Municipal Building.

The parade will feature veterans, fire and first aid organizations, color guards, scout troops, marching bands, floats from various organizations and a special appearance by Santa.

Canned and non-perishable goods will be collected along the route of the parade to be donated to the Lacey Food Bank.

Staging will begin in the parking lot of the Lacey United Methodist Church after 2 p.m.

The Lacey Elks will also be holding a memorial service at 9:30 a.m. at the lodge in remembrance of all those who have passed away.

The Lacey Elks Lodge is located at 900 Beach Boulevard in Forked River.
