Lacey Rolling Thunder Chapter Rides for Freedom

The New Jersey Chapter Two Rolling Thunder participated in the 25th annual Ride for Freedom this weekend

The Rolling Thunder New Jersey Chapter Two based in Lacey traveled to Washington, D.C. for the Ride for Freedom demonstration in honor of Memorial Day.  

The Chapter presented a wreath at the Iwo Jima Memorial on Saturday, May 26 and did the 25th annual ride on Sunday. There were 110,000 motorcycles that participated in the ride from the Pentagon, past the Lincoln Memorial, down Constitution Avenue, past the Capitol and then down Independence. 

Rolling Thunder, Inc. is an organization with the purpose of educating the public of the many American prisoners of war that have been left behind in all the past wars. The members "correct the past and protect the future" of future veterans from being left behind. Rolling Thunder, Inc. also works to assist disabled vets from all wars.
