The Lacey Library has set up a table containing resources for those impacted by Hurricane Sandy.
The display provides everything from resources to information on FEMA and volunteering or donating.
“We were very full when Sandy happened,” Traci Callender said. Residents utilized the library as a place to stay warm, charge electronics and socialize. Even card tables were set up.
Although it’s calmed down, people continue to use the library for informational purposes, she said.
“We tried to be an informational resource for anyone who didn’t know where to go,” she said.
The library also continues to do a lot of faxes for residents affected by the storm. Each fax is $1.50, then $1 for each additional fax. The library can only send faxes out. It cannot receive faxes, she said.
Resources can also be found on the Ocean County Library System's website.
