June 25: Blue to You Van, Summer Reading Kickoff Party, Municipal Alliance

1. There’s a blood drive at Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood starting at 7 a.m.

2. The Forked River Old Guard is meeting at at 9 a.m.

3. The Blue to You Horizon Healthcare van will be at the from 9 a.m. to noon. Residents can learn about healthy living strategies and local wellness activities, attend seminars, access healthcare information and more. At 10 a.m., staff will explain food labels, teach residents how to identify a serving size and more.

4. The summer reading kickoff party for the Ocean County Library Summer Reading Program is from 2 to 4 p.m. Librarians and volunteers will be available to help kids, teens and adults sign up. Staff will also explain the Lacey Schools summer reading program. Light refreshments will be profided.

5. There is a Municipal Alliance meeting at the at 7 p.m.
