June 1: Film Festival, Movie Night, Wine and Art Show

1. Today begins the fourth annual Lighthouse International Film Festival in southern Ocean County. The event will feature films, parties, discussions and breakfasts with filmmakers. For more information, call 609-494-7211.
2. The Ocean County Mentoring Program is seeking volunteers to provide friendships to boys and girls ages 8 to 11. The Mentoring Coordinator will be at the County Connection from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to discuss the program with interested volunteers.
3. Parent teacher Organization is having movie night with a showing of Chipwrecked at 7:30 p.m.

4. Buckalew’s Tavern in Beach Haven is holding its second annual Wine and Art Show at 7 p.m. There will be silent and live auctions. For more information, call 609-492-0700.
