Jan. 8: Art Exhibits, Bird Feeding and More

Events in and around Lacey Township

1. "Beauty at the Shore" will be highlighted during an ongoing art exhibit at the Toms River branch of the Ocean County Library, 101 Washington St., Toms River this Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call 732-349-6200 for more information.

2. The Bob Seabrook Exhibit will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Tuckerton Seaport. Admission ranges from $3 to $8, children five and under are free. The exhibit includes over 100 pieces of carved decoys.

3. Stop by a bird feeding station at Cattus Island County Park in Toms River from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. A Park naturalist will be available to help you identify local avifauna.

4. The Ocean County Artists Guild, 22 Chestnut St. in Island Heights, will hold a reception on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. featuring works from faculty and members. Call 732-270-3111 for more information.

5. The NJ Maritime Museum in Beach Haven will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum is featuring ship wrecks off of the state's coast.
