Fundraiser to Benefit Lacey Mom Battling Stomach Cancer

Elks Club, Hibernians Hosts Sunday event for Lori Zarycki

Love For Lori will hold a fundraiser at the Lacey Elks Lodge, 900 Beach Boulevard, on Sunday to benefit township resident Lori Zarycki and her family as she recovers from and continues treatment for stage 3 stomach cancer.

"We invite you to come out and support our mother during this difficult time in her life," said Lori's daughter Alexis.

The event takes place from 2-6p.m. Tickets are $10 for ages 18 and older.

The event, held with the Ancient Order of Hibernians, includes live bands, food, 50/50 raffles and a Chinese Auction, with items donated from local shops and companies.

Those who would like to purchase a ticket are asked to be at the Elks by 12:30 p.m. Sunday. Tickets will be sold on a first come, first serve basis and the event is expected to sell out, said Alexis.

To purchase tickets in advance, please email suzannet01@msn.com. Love for Lori will be selling 225 tickets in advance. Any left will be available at the door. 

Attendees are also asked to bring a non-perishable food item (no glass please) for the Lacey Food Bank. For each item donated, a ticket will be given to enter into a special drawing for a $50 visa gift card.
