Aug. 9: Birding By Kayak, Chocolate Fair, Concert on the Bay

1. From 8 am. to 11 a.m. people can go birding by kayak at Island Beach State Park. An expert park natural educator will provide guidance.

2. There are free blood pressure screenings at the County Connection in Toms River from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

3. The All Things Chocolate Fair begins from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Long Beach Island Historical Museum in Beach Haven. There will be demonstrations, tastings and more.

4. Shorting Long and the Jersey Homs will be playing at a Concert on the Bay at Waterfront Park in Ship Bottom.

5. There’s a committee meeting at the Municipal Building at 7 p.m.
