Aug. 22: Sidewalk Sales, Coast Guard Open House, Music Festival
Events in and around Lacey Township
1. Lavallette Businesses will be having sidewalk sales all day.
2. The Coast Guard Station at 6th and Bayview in Barnegat Light is holding an open house from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Demonstrations will be done by an Atlantic Strike Force response team and the Coast Guard with a helicopter fly over and rescue swimmer. There will also be a sand safe boating demonstration by the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Tour of stations and boats will be offered.
3. The LBI Splash and Dash Series will take place at Bayview Park in Brant Beach.

4. The Barley Boys will be playing at Veterans Bicentennial Park from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in Beach Haven.
5. There will be a music festival at Jenkinson’s Boardwalk in Point Pleasant at 7:30 p.m.
