Richard Hauswirth joins Board of Trustees of Lacey Food Bank

(Forked River, NJ July, 2013) - The Lacey Food Bank Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Hauswirth to the Board effective July 1, 2013.   Mr. Hauswirth replaces the Rev. Roy Minnix who has retired. 

Rich Hauswirth brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the Lacey Food Bank with more than 20 years of service with various civic, business and fraternal organizations.  As President of Hauswirth and Sons Insurance Consultants, Rich Hauswirth has a long-standing connection with the Lacey community.  His ongoing involvement with the Lacey Food Bank affords him a sensitivity, awareness and dedication to the issues and problems encountered by individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.  
Rich Hauswirth's  broad-based skills will provide the Lacey Food Bank a new perspective on innovative community involvement opportunities geared toward increased food stores and financial security.   Rich graduated from St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida.  He and his wife Margareth opened the office of Hauswirth & Sons Insurance Consultants on Route 9 in Forked River in 1990 (http://www.hauswirthinsurance.com).  They are the proud parents of three grown sons and recently became first-time  grandparents.

Rich holds several professional designations in the field of Insurance Consulting, Risk Management and Insurance Marketing. He is a member of the Lacey Chamber of Commerce, a life member of the Lacey Historical Society and former Chairman of the Lacey Planning Board.
