We can all thank Regina for her hard and persistent work in getting to the bottom of the solarRead Morepanel scandal which costs us millions of dollars. NOt only that she has researched the contracts for the Union and realizes that things have to change. We need teachers who really want to teach and are not just showing up because they have tenure and the NJEA to protect them. Yearly evaluations must be conducted and if you fail you are out. Just like in any other job. In fact we should be harder on them then most because they are shaping the future of our country with the education of the children. We should expect nothing but excellence but we have very poor results coming out of this school. Its so bad if it weren't so sad it would be laughable.

"Horizon BCBSNJ believes that families should have the opportunity to experience a true Jersey Read Moreshore summer vacation." But they do not seem too concerned about squeezing middle class families out of the healthcare market. Premiums for the rich have stayed about the same. The poor now get highly subsidized insurance coverage and the middle class get to suck "...true Jersey shore summer...." wind. You can bet the winner ain't staying at Bob Marino's beach house either.

That gets expensive when you lose...and I'm no pushover. Not only that, but it may be enough to have the voters send YOU to the showers. No wonder the Committee had to look outside the County for someone to run instead of you. . . . . . YOU have my number. Why don't you try that threat crap with me?

Wonder how the BURLCO rank and file Republicans would feel to find out their guys are backingRead MoreNORCRO SS in CD1?
THIS ARTICLE IS ABOUT CORRUPTION of the BURLINGTON COUNTY REPUBLICAN MACHINE POLITICIANS - Not your Read More"road" woes, Leo. Start your own thread on that, if you wish. If I have to re-publish the story once a week until the courts are done, just to keep it untainted by your meaningless rants as an effort to distract from the message in the article, then I will. The people - the voters - ESPECIALLY the rank and file Republicans - need to know that this is how their leaders run the show.
I am paying very close attention to the recall process, and will be taking a position on theRead Morecandida tes who run - but, remember, I don't LIVE in Lacey. It is up to you, the Lacey Voters, to make as informed a decision as you can. The PEOPLE of LACEY can fix the corruption in their back yard, AT THE BALLOT BOX...Just like the people of Ocean County can turn their backs on the corrupt status quo, and elect an unfettered Freeholder like Tracy M Caprioni.
Is the "B" on your present Freeholder incumbent's jersey for "Birdsall" orRead More&quot ;Bollinger"?? The man did many good things, but at what cost? An analogy would be Joe Paterno <rip>, who held a career of good deeds in one hand, and Sandusky in the other - AND CHOSE THE WRONG HAND.
The control of that august body has been allowed to pass firmly into the hands of specialRead Moreinterests, lobbyists, and corporations, some of which control assets greater than those of many of our smaller neighboring Nations. We have been fed an illusion that there are only two voices, and two choices – “Democrat” or “Republican”, “Liberal” or “Conservative”, “Pro - Life” or “Pro - Choice”, “Union” or “Non - Union”. These divisions are false - a distraction, and an abstraction. We are "Americans", and that should be our primary identity – an identity borne with pride. The “Tree of Liberty” has three branches – Legislative, Executive, and Judicial. We, the People, are the root-stock. The Legislative Branch has been wickedly pruned by the actions of the other two. That was never meant to be, and we must not allow it to continue. Only WE may hold the pruning shears. They are applied at the ballot box. America has been carefully divided – with the strongest independent voices carefully culled from public exposure. We have been divided so that we may be more easily subjugated – and we’ve allowed that division, through ignorance of the processes at work, to undermine all that our forefathers fought and died for. We cannot move forward with one voice, with one purpose, as a Nation divided. Some would say that we never were “one voice” – and that maybe true, today – but it need not be true, forever.
I believe a good analogy is a church choir. Today, we have been divided into “Red” andRead More& ldquo;Blue” choir robes, and handed different hymnals. Is it no surprise that the noise rising from the floor of the House and Senate has become a disjointed and meaningless cacophony? This is not “music” – and certainly no symphony. The “Hymnal” o f America is its Constitution. We must find our voice, once more. The usurpers who have orchestrated this division profit from it. These parasites must perpetuate the division we’re enduring to maintain their fortunes…fortunes cultivated with the blood, the sweat, and the tears of a people unwittingly enslaved. If we choose to allow this to continue, we will have surrendered, squandered, even, the greatest gift our parents could ever have given us…whether born here, or brought here – to be Americans. Sometimes, however, in order to bear more fruit, the vines must be dressed, the orchard, pruned. It is only by removing the “dead wood”, otherwise committed to themselves and their puppet -masters – we can grow, once more. If your leadership needs pruning, know these two things: 1) The power to cut away the unproductive branches lies in your vote. and 2) It can take several seasons for your efforts to bear fruit once more. As an old friend put it – “Rome wasn’t built in a day, but it burned in a fortnight.” It is your obligation to take up the pruning hooks, beaten to such from the swords of your forefathers. For pruning to be successful, it must be almost surgical in its application. It is not a mere hacking away of all old growth. The greatest gift YOU can give your children in preserving their legacy of freedom is your educated vote. “Stand for what’s right, or settle for what’s left” – Frederick John LaVergne.

Tax payers of Lacey, this lame duck School Board should not renew any contracts, with ANY BOERead MoreEmploy ee until after this next election. Let the new Board have the ability to make sweeping changes. This recall is about playing fast and loose with tax dollars. Where did the almost 20 million dollars really go? The Lacey Tax payer should demand a return of overpayment of $455,000 to the no bid solar project's; architect contract. No attorney review? Tax Payer funded gambling in speculation markets?
