Break out the salt and pass me a lime wedge – it’s National Margarita Day on Friday!

And who is celebrating National Margarita Day? La Esperanza in Lindenwold, that’s who!

And can I end another sentence with an exclamation point? Why of course I can!

But seriously, La Esperanza will be one of a number of places that will be serving up this popular concoction in large amounts on Friday. They will be offering their house margaritas all day for $5.

Friday is also the day of the last of the big Muskrat Dinner events – this one at Salem FOE 1966 on East Broadway in Salem. They are still saying that tickets are available, which is unusual because they are usually sold out by now. Anyway, the cost is $35 a person at the door, but call ahead if you plan to show up sans tickets to make sure seats are available.

Saturday has a wine class on Australian wines going on at WineWorks in Marlton starting at 2 p.m. In the evening, it’s a Taste of the Haddons at Haddon Fortnightly on Kings Highway in Haddonfield. Some of the best eateries in the area will be participating in this event that benefits the Junior Women’s Club, including Apron, El Sitio, Nunzio’s, British Chip Shop, The Little Tuna and Melange. The event goes from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and the cost is $50 per person.

Come Monday it’s the beginning of Dining with Dr Seuss Week at The Pop Shop in Collingswood. Check their site for the full schedule and available menus.
