Warrant Issued for Alleged Hudson City Savings Bank Robber
Police seek public's assistance in locating Blake Wood of Forked River
Police have issued an arrest warrant for a Forked River man wanted for the Monday Hudson City Savings Bank robbery .
Blake Wood, 23, is being sought after the Monday afternoon robbery, which took place at the bank located in the Lakeside Plaza on South Main Street, police said.
Wood is 5’10’’ and approximately 155 pounds, police said. He has dirty blond hair and blue eyes.
Wood allegedly entered the Lacey bank at 3 p.m. Monday and demanded cash from the teller, police Chief William Nally previously said. No weapon was displayed.
At that time, he was described to be wearing blue jeans, a dark sweater or sweatshirt and a dark baseball cap. His face was partially covered by a scarf or an article of clothing, Nally had said.
Wood allegedly left the scene on foot, Nally said.
The attached photos of Wood were taken between June and July 2012. The current length of his hair is unknown, police said.
The Lacey Township Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating Wood. Anyone with information about his whereabouts should call 609-693-6636. All information will remain confidential.
Wood was previously charged in June with shoplifting after he allegedly stole three computers totaling $1,293 from a Lacey store.
