Snow Storm Alert: NJ Transit Cross-Honoring

National Weather Service predicts one to two inches for our area.

Systemwide cross-honoring is in effect now that sevceral inches of snow have fallen.

Cross-honoring will give customers additional travel options all day Friday, enabling them to use their ticket or pass on an alternate travel mode- rail, bus, or light rail.

As for Friday, the National Weather Service is predicting periods of snow before 9 a.m. but is only expecting less than half an inch of accumulation. The high will be near 35 but wind gusts could reach as much as 36 mph.

According to Mayor Gary Quinn, Lacey Township Public Works Deparment Director Casey Parker anticipates a light snow and currently plans to bring in the crew from midnight until 8 a.m.
