Sept. 11: County Connection Mobile, Seafood Delight, PTSA Meeting

Events in and around Lacey Township

 

1. The County Connection mobile truck will be at the Lacey Library at 10 a.m.

2. The Board of Social Services will be available at the County Connection in Toms River from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to present information on assistance programs available to eligible Ocean County residents.

3. The Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Ocean County in Toms River will be holding Seafood Delight from 1 to 3 p.m. The event will teach individuals proper handling and storage methods, ways to cut and prepare fish and shellfish, and the risks and benefits of seafood. There will also be seafood sampling and light refreshments.

4. The Lacey Township High School Parent Teacher Student Association will be holding its monthly meeting at the high school at 7 p.m.

5. The Ocean County College Theatre Company is having open auditions for the fall production of The Dream of the Burning Boy. Auditions are at 7:30 p.m. For more information, click here.
