You say its a big deal, when people put their time and selves on the line, whether it be paid or volunteer to ensure the safety and care of other people in the community. The men and women that do this have heart and soul put in to their jobs and deserve recognition for the tasks and strain from they saves that they undergo in taking care of the community..
