Does anyone know for sure if we donated clothing is sold for scrap to other countries or is it actually donated to families. I remember watching a tv investigation show reporting the clothing is actullay sold by the pound to other countries. Is this true of the bins we have on town.

A lot of times the charities sell it to companies that then cut them up and turn them into rags.

GB Shore... as long as he has certain officials in his pocket he will go untouched.
This IS NOT the first time he has gotten stopped, or a DWI.BUT yet he continues to be seen as an upstanding citzen in Lacey.
God help him if he is on the road driving drunk and he injures one of my friends or family....God Help Him!

Thats why I almost donate either directly or to where Im sure its getting used properly. So many times too much of it is being used for the wrong reasons and only a little gets trickled down to where its supposed to go.
Its shameful really.

Chris...I thought so. Its a shame to think we are donating clothing to the needy and they are sold and cut into rags.. I guess Goodwill in Bayville is better, although they sell their items it is very affordable to those in need.

Why mention the name of an individuals business? Was the vehicle involved in the accident branded with the business name? If not than keep the business out of it. As a business owner, I don't think that's fair reporting.
