Police: 2 Arrested After Throwing Woman From Moving Vehicle

A Lanoka Harbor woman was found semi-conscious after she was thrown from a vehicle following an altercation

Two were arrested after Lacey police completed an investigation related to an incident in which a woman was thrown from a moving vehicle.

Police arrested Tina Monbleau, 18, of Forked River and Timothy Spinner, 22, of West Creek on Sept. 26 following a weeks-long investigation into the incident, police said.

A call came into the police department on Sept. 9 at 6 p.m. that a young woman was thrown from a moving vehicle and suffered injuries, police said.

After investigating the incident, police determined that an altercation occurred between the suspects and Walters over money that was allegedly owed to one of the suspects, police said.

Monbleau, who was driving the vehicle, allegedly sped off with Walters hanging onto the passenger side window, police said. Walters was dragged for nearly a block before the vehicle’s passenger, Spinner, allegedly threw her from the vehicle. Walters fell to the ground and temporarily lost consciousness.

The Lacey Township First Aid Squad transported Walters to Community Medical Center.

Police issued warrants for Monbleau and Spinner on Sept. 26. Both were arrested that same day.

Monbleau and Spinner were charged with second-degree aggravated assault and third degree endangering an injured victim.

Spinner was sent to Ocean County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail. Monbleau was also sent to the Ocean County Jail with bail set at $20,000.
